Our network is expanding: Meet the new members!

After 20 months of close collaboration with the five founding members of the EM GUIDE network, at the start of this year we submitted a follow-up Creative Europe application with a bold geographical expansion. We decided to grow the network considerably: six additional cultural media projects have been invited to join us for the coming years!
The growing network is about to cover a wider area of European culture. Although we already cover topics from Central and Easter Europe, the new members will include three additional representatives of this area, namely Poland, Georgia, and Romania. To stretch a bit further to the West, France also joins the team, and as a first Nordic partner, a Swedish member is on board as well. So, who are they?
Glissando (Warsaw, Poland)
Glissando is Warsaw-based online and offline magazine. Originally a source of publications on contemporary music in general, Glissando is recently focusing on new music in Eastern Europe with a strong emphasis on Ukraine. They publish both in Polish and English, involving a wide range of styles and methods such as academic studies, free-form writings, profound historical research and informal interviews.
Mutant Radio (Tbilisi, Georgia)
Operating from a DIY caravan-wagon, Mutant Radio is a mobile media platform and bar based in Tbilisi. Instead of focusing on text-based articles, Mutant audio-broadcasts various shows, both live and pre-recorded, hosts DJs and invites various figures of underground scenes to freely discuss topics of their interests.
The Attic (Bucharest, Romania)
The Attic is a Romania-based online music magazine and a former festival-series focusing on the socio-cultural and historical context of various geographical areas and time periods through exploring and understanding music. With strong importance on connecting the dots between society and music, The Attic brings in-depth articles in English from areas that one could otherwise not discover.
Le Type (Bordeaux, France)
Le Type is an independent online magazine publishing in French with a mission to give exposure to artists from alternative scenes of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region around Bordeaux. Beyond their local focus, Le Type takes an active role in the safeguarding of underground music with projects such as Scene city, an initiative linking electronic music communities across Europe.
Record Turnover (Malmö, Sweden)
Record Turnover is an online magazine covering new and obscure sounds and visuals from around the world. Both presenting new releases by lesser-known artists and digging up hidden gems from the past, the magazine caters to anyone who likes to discover unusual, weird music, whether electronic, grunge, new wave, or something else. Record Turnover is also present as a radio hosting a monthly showcase on Noods Radio from Bristol.
