"We provide examples of possible connections" – A conversation with the curator of the Porto Municipal Vinyl Archive

Hidden on the outskirts of downtown, in a decidedly uninviting side street, is the institution responsible for maintaining Porto's municipal vinyl archive, the Fonoteca Municipal. After the city's public library received two separate collections of tens of thousands of records from two different radio stations as donations in a short span of time, they decided seven years ago to attempt to process and manage the collection using a new model.
